Young talent takes centre stage at Chantilly

All eyes will be on Chantilly this Saturday for a day full of young talent and promise! Eight races are on the card, including five for 2-year-olds. A great opportunity to discover some exciting young horses who could become the stars of tomorrow.
The highlight of the day will be the Critérium de Maisons-Laffitte (Gr.2), run over the straight 1,200 metres. Six runners, three colts and three fillies, will line up, including the exciting Al Hamaad, who has already impressed on both his starts. He caught the eye on his debut despite being beaten, before winning on his second outing. He will now be looking to take another step forward and prove himself over a straight course. But victory is far from guaranteed! Among his main rivals is Jolivette, a filly travelling over from England who has already shown her ability at this level. Her extra experience could make all the difference.
Another race to watch closely is the Prix Saraca (Listed, 1,400 metres), which has also attracted six runners. Unlike the Critérium, there is no clear favourite here. The field looks evenly matched, making this a very open contest! The 2-year-olds will also have two further chances to shine in maiden races, where horses will be looking to break their maiden.
Finally, the 3-year-olds will have their chance to take the spotlight in the Prix Le Fabuleux (Listed, 1,800 metres). This race will feature an interesting clash between two colts who have previously been aimed at the highest level: Segall, trained by André Fabre, and Regal Resolve, trained by Francis-Henri Graffard.
