France Galop and the Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard are pleased to announce a new sponsorship partnership covering the entire race card at Deauville on Sunday, 12 July 2026, including the afternoon’s feature race, the Prix Jean Prat, a 1400m Group 1 for three-year-olds. This partnership reflects a shared ambition to showcase the excellence of the French Thoroughbred and further enhance the international reach and appeal of French racing.
The Prix Jean Prat, a highlight of the Deauville summer meeting
Each summer, the Prix Jean Prat brings Europe’s leading three-year-olds onto the mile of the of the Deauville-La Touques racecourse. A major fixture in both the French and European racing calendar, the race reflects the standards of excellence and competition associated with top-level Flat racing. Entirely sponsored by the Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard, the race meeting on Sunday, 12 July, promises to be one of the summer season highlights.
