Fireworks on the track at ParisLongchamp!

On Sunday, July 13, the ParisLongchamp Racecourse will host its grand Garden Party, the highlight of the summer season of JeuXdi ParisLongchamp. This final festive evening will kick off with high-level horse racing, including the Cygames Grand Prix de Paris. This Group 1 race, reserved for 3-year-olds and run over the same course as the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, has attracted six contenders. The winner will receive free supplementary entry into the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (if not already entered), or a reimbursement of the entry fee.
Sosie (Sea the Stars) won last year, and this Sunday, his younger brother Uther (Camelot) will attempt to achieve the same feat. The colt, trained under Christophe Ferland, was unable to showcase his talent in the Prix Greffulhe (Group 3), but he has a chance to redeem himself. New Ground (New Bay) took a shot in the legendary Epsom Derby (Group 1), where he finished fourth. Trained under Henri-François Devin, he is one of only two runners proven over the 2,400m distance, along with Surabad (Bated Breath), supplemented by Aga Khan Studs following his second-place finish in the official trial, the Prix du Lys Longines (Group 3).
Leffard (Le Havre) was also a late addition, with his connections believing he is worth much more than his 17th-place finish in the Qatar Prix du Jockey Club (Group 1). The classic June race at Chantilly also featured Trinity College (Dubawi), who finished fourth under Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien, and Frankly Good Cen (Frankel), seventh for young trainer Victoria Head. At this point in the season, the 3-year-old hierarchy remains unstable, making this Group 1 event even more thrilling!
