Update on the Expected Track Condition for the Prix de Diane Longines

Weather forecast that is improving but remains variable
On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in the mid-afternoon, the weather in Chantilly was warm and sunny (with a high of 27°C) and windy. The weather forecast is evolving and currently trending positively, with a sunny weekend now expected.
Marin Le Cour Grandmaison, Head of the Chantilly Racecourse, explained that on Tuesday, June 10 at 6:00 PM, the track condition was measured at 3.1. As a result, a 6mm irrigation was carried out early in the morning of Wednesday, June 11. This brought the index to 3.6 by Wednesday, indicating soft ground.
Further irrigation is planned for Wednesday evening, and again on Friday evening if the forecast thunderstorms at the end of the day do not occur or prove insufficient. As of now, no irrigation is scheduled for Saturday or Sunday.
On Sunday, June 15, for the Prix de Diane Longines race day, the track is expected to range between good to soft and good. The Chantilly teams will remain ready to adjust track management operations depending on how the weather evolves, which remains uncertain at this stage.
As a reminder, the track is measured every morning and the readings are published on the France Galop website and social media channels.
