Prix Edmond Blanc, stepping stone to reach new heights

(Communiqué France Galop). - We wish to inform trainers that the entry fee for three Group races in France and in England will be offered by France Galop to the first four horses of the Prix Edmond Blanc (Group 3 – 4 years old and upwards – One mile), on Sunday 2nd April at Saint-Cloud (conditions of the race below).

Total prize money €80,000 (1st €40,000, 2nd €16,000, 3rd €12,000, 4th €8,000, 5th €4,000)

+ 63 % owners’ premium for 4yo French-bred

+ 43 % owners’ premium for 5yo and upwards French-bred

Please find below the three Group races, whose entry fee will be offered to the first four horses of The Prix Edmond Blanc :

PRIX DU MUGUET (Group 2 - 4 years old and upwards – One mile), at Saint-Cloud
Total prize money: €130,000
Monday 1st May

THE DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE STAKES (Group 2 - 4 years old and upwards –
Fillies and Mares only - One mile), at Ascot
Total prize money: £175,000
Wednesday 21th June
Entry fee : £1,750

France Galop will also pay €1,000 for any horse with a rating of 110 travelled from outside France with the express purpose of running in this race.

Penalties, a winner since June 1st 2016 inclusive,
