September 17, 2021, Auteuil Racecourse (Paris). - An easy win for Let Me Love (Authorized), who'd already won twice but never at that sort of selection level. She won her first Group race in this The Fellow - Marquise Moratalla Chase (Gr3) at Auteuil, a prep race for the Maurice Gillois 4yo Chase (Gr1). Racing for her breeder and trainer William Menuet, who won his first Graded race on this occasion, Let Me Love had failed three times in black-type races before.

The 4-year-old filly has obviously made some progress, even though she'd won over a shorter distance at Auteuil, and hurdling at Clairefontaine last Summer. The previous winners of the race are Figuero (Yeats) and Le Berry (Gémix). The podium, this season, is filled with fillies, Ladyville (Doctor Dino) and L’Aubonnière (Doctor Dino), both owned by Antonia Devin.

Let Me Love is out of Lady d’Ogenne (Sassassian), winner and twice second of the Grand Steeple Chase de Craon (L) for William Menuet. Let Me Love is her first foal. It's a beautiful bloodline as Lady d’Ogenne is a sister to two good cross-country horses, Ocean Austral (Antarctique), winner of the Grand Cross de Fontainebleau, and Uniketat (Vision d’Etat), winner of the Grand Cross de Pau. Lady d’Ogenne's 2-year-old Motivator foal was awarded 1st prize at the Haras du Pin conformation show in 2021.
