2025 REVIEW - A record-breaking season in terms of attendance, with 438 000 spectators at the different racecourses, an increase of 8 % - Resounding success of « Horses in the City » - 7 new national and international sponsors

Following significant innovations, a redesigned programme and a clear ambition to deliver fast paced excitement, France Galop reached new heights of activity and engagement in 2025. The season’s results speak for themselves: record attendance, attraction and retention of new visitors, high satisfaction rates, experiences shared on our social media platforms, new partners.

438 000 spectators enthralled by events at racecourses
In 2025, the five major France Galop managed racecourses (Auteuil, Chantilly, Deauville, ParisLongchamp and Saint-Cloud) welcomed a record 438 000 spectators, an 8% increase compared with the previous year.
Throughout 2025, an ambitious sportainment program captivated spectators across all demographics : live performances of the NRJ Music Tour at the Emirates Poules d’Essai, Urban Street talent demonstrations at the Qatar Prix du Jockey Club, an outdoor broadcast of a football match during the Cygames Grand Prix de Paris, a day of elegance around the Prix de Diane Longines and top-level sport at the end of the season over the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend. One of the most significant developments in France Galop’s new experience concept took shape at the major Jump racing events at the Auteuil racecourse. Innovative themed weekends, including a May countryside weekend and a November mountain weekend boosted attendance on these days by over 75 %.
France Galop continues to innovate and is already preparing new, ever more immersive experiences for the 2026 season, reinforcing its ambition to make a visit to a racecourse an absolute must for sport and entertainment.

Restoring horse racing to the hearts of the French: This is the ambition of Guillaume de Saint-Seine, President of France Galop. In 2025, this vision led to a comprehensive redesign of the experiences offered at the Auteuil, Chantilly, Deauville, ParisLongchamp and Saint-Cloud racecourses.
Through a reimagined programme, significant innovations and a desire to offer fast paced excitement at every turn, France Galop has created an unprecedented momentum. The season’s results speak for themselves: record attendance, new visitors attracted and retained, high satisfaction levels, experiences shared on our social media platforms and new partnerships. More than ever, France Galop is demonstrating the strength of its approach: top-level sport enhanced by a genuine sportainment experience.
Popular outings that make you want to come back!
Outings at France Galop racecourses are enjoying exceptional satisfaction rates: 90 % of visitors are won over (source: MRCC surveys), which is a rare achievement in the leisure industry. As a result, 9 out of 10 spectators say they want to come back.
This enthusiasm is reflected in the number of bookings. Ticket sales increased by 15% in 2025, indicating increased anticipation and a genuine desire to experience our events. Even more impressive: 38 % of ticket buyers attended multiple events during the season, demonstrating strong brand loyalty driven by memorable and distinctive experiences.
And on site, the promise is largely fulfilled: 97 % of spectators praise the atmosphere and 98 % say they are captivated by the races.
France Galop is the recipient of three Sport Business awards for « Horses in the City” at the Place de la Concorde.

Each year, the Grand Prix du Sport Business recognises the best initiatives and commitments of public and private organisations in the field of sport and its ecosystem in France. At the 2025 awards ceremony, France Galop received three awards, including the 2025 Grand Prix du Sport Business for its “Horses in the City” event, which took place on 4 and 5 September at the Place de la Concorde in Paris.
This recognition from sportainement experts celebrates the success of a bold initiative designed to bring horses into the heart of the capital, connecting them directly with Parisians. The first edition was a resounding success, attracting 38,000 visitors over two days. A renewal has already been announced for 2026.
France Galop experience can also be enjoyed online
In 2025, France Galop showed that its universe can be fully experienced online: it is immersive, engaging and shareable. The @FranceGalop social media community continues to grow, with a total of 280 000 followers, a significant increase of 9,6 % in 2025. Exclusive videos, which offer viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the races, have been hugely successful with 29.3 million views across all our platforms, up 25 % compared to 2024.
This momentum is also evident on the France Galop official ticketing website, which saw 1.69 million sessions (+8 % vs 2024), with the average time spent on the site increasing by 9 %, thanks to a wealth of information on offer.
Ticket buyers remain highly engaged with upcoming events, as evidenced by the 263,616 newsletter subscribers, up 32 % on last year.
New major sponsors and international broadcast of key events

In 2025, France Galop welcomed seven new partners alongside its loyal supporters, thereby reinforcing the prestigious and innovative nature of its events. These included a Breeders’ Association, who became an official partner of the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris, as well as the Japanese video game developer Cygames jeux vidéo Cygames (renowned for Umamusume: Pretty Derby), which is now associated with the Grand Prix de Paris. Meanwhile, Hespéride, a leading French outdoor furniture brand, became the Official Furniture Partner of France Galop racecourses and of the Prix de Diane Longines, one of the major events of the year. Also, Maison Courtois was appointed Official Milliner for this prestigious event, synonymous with the world of elegance.
These partners enjoy worldwide exposure through France Galop organised major events, particularly the Qatar prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, broadcast live across 30 networks in over 14 territories on every continent.
Racecourses: the go-to venues for corporate events

Throughout 2025, more than 450 000 B2B clients were hosted at France Galop racecourses for seminars, corporate events, festivals or exhibitions.
Whether on race days or not, these venues offer large outdoor spaces, flexible reception rooms that can be adapted to the number of participants, and events that can be paired with the excitement of the races.
In total, more than 400 companies from all sectors chose France Galop racecourses as their venue to host events and showcase their businesses, up 15 % from 2024.
The JeuXdi by ParisLongchamp, unique after-work events combining horse racing and music, continued their success in 2025. More than 170 companies, hosting 6,200 clients (+33%), attended across 10 dates.
