Sunday, June 6, 2021, Chantilly Racecourse (Oise). - Favourite for this first test at Group level in the Prix de Sandringham (Gr3), a mile race restricted to 3-year-old fillies, Tahlie (Rio de la Plata) had won her last three races, including two this term and a Listed last time out. She, however, had skipped the French Guineas, unlike three of her four rivals here. Trained by Pascal Bary for owners Jean-Louis Bouchard and Gérard Augustin-Normand, the filly nevertheless proved superior in the end as she held back a closing Kennella (Kendargent), third in the "Pouliches" before that and second at a head this time ... The winner was ridden by Christophe Soumillon., who gave her every chance behind the leaders, Bellissime (No Nay Never) for Britain alongside Silvestri (Siyouni), both giving way in the last straight.

See the Rose (Kendargent), always well placed behind them, finished third at 2 and a half lengths.

Tahlie is the 6th and last foal out of Tianshan (Lahint), a Listed winner for trainer François-Xavier de Chevigny for her breeder Georges Sandor. All of her foals won at least twice, including Trixia (Siyouni), the winner of the Prix des Réservoirs (Gr3) and the Prix de Lieurey (Gr3), or Thaïs (Rio de la Plata), a Gr1-placed in the USA after a Listed win in France.
