Seven 2-year-old fillies, two of which are French, are starting Wednesday in the Prix des Réservoirs (Gr3), a mile run on the round course. Two years after With You, who has since raced exclusively at Group 1 level, and won the Rothschild (Gr1) on the same distance but over the straight course eight months later, which filly will give her connections enough hope to go thourgh the Winter?

Simon Crisford's Festive Star (Golden Horn) has just won her second race in Milan over 7 1/5 furlongs, by five lengths in a Listed race. Run Wild (Amaron) is progressing nicely and she has just been running at Doncaster on that distance. Mauricio Delcher-Sanchez, a Spanish trainer based in Chantilly, is an expert with 2-year-old fillies and his Scripturale (Makfi), who runs for Ahmed Mouknass, Pandora Racing, Gerard Decocq and Isabelle Corbani, has just taken a nice second place in the Criterium de l'Ouest (L) at Craon, in the West.

Frankel's Storm (Frankel) has been declared a non-runner on soft ground recently in Newmarket but she won a three-runners race on a heavy track in Carlisle.

Pocket Square (Night of Thunder) is out of a sister to Grand Prix de Paris winner Zambezi Sun and she has just won decisively at Ascot on fast ground for her second outing. The fifth Briton in the race, Glengowan (Kingman), won her only race to date, a ParisLongchamp beginners' race, beating a disappointing filly, and another who finished second to the promising Kraquante at ParisLongchamp over 7 furlongs on Sunday...

Finally, the deauville trainer Romain Le Dren-Doleuze saddles Centure Noire (Wootton Bassett), beaten by a potential champion sencod last time out but closer recently on a very soft ground ...

The promising Ketil (Karakontie) will also get some attention in the Prix Isonomy (L) on the same course.
