June 20, 2021, Chantilly Racecourse (Oise). - A winner for his debut in May over the same course and distance as that of the Prix du Lys Longines (Gr3), German raider Northern Ruler (Ruler of the World) finished second on the same venue in a class 2 event after that. He took a convincing turn back to victory here for his first Group race, on his way to the German Derby. The Gestüt Schlenderhan homebred held off bravely the French favourite Bubble Gift (Nathaniel), who will rather be aimed at the Grand Prix de Paris.

The winner is the only foal out of North Sun (Monsun), a winner of one race, once entered in the French Oaks. His second dam finished 2nd in the German Oaks.
