Launch of the 2025 Grand Steeple-Chase Masters

Get ready for the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris !

Saturday, 15 February 2025, marks the official launch of the 4th Grand Steeple-Chase Masters, a series of 4 trial races leading to the Grand Steeple Chase de Paris, the greatest challenge of them all: a 6000 metres race with 23 imposing obstacles, which takes place on Sunday, 18 May 2025 at the Auteuil racecourse.

For that great challenge and to get there at the peak of their form, the best horses ridden by the best jump jockeys will complete their preparation in these trial races. The Grand Steeple-Chase Masters programme includes two Grade 3 and two Grade 2 races.

From one trial date to the next, fans can follow the progress of their favourite horses live at the Auteuil racecourse or on the social media platforms @FranceGalop and enjoy  exclusive behind the scene content with hashtag #GRANDSTEEPLECHASE

Exceptional bonus for connections !

France Galop rewards owners of horses that deliver outstanding performances in the Grand Steeple-Chase Masters with premiums.

Owners of the horse that is successful in two trial races and then goes on to win the 2025 Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris will receive an extra bonus of €150 000.

And to take it even further, if that horses wins the Grand Slam, which includes a victory in two trial races, the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris and a victory in the Prix La Haye Jousselin in the autumn,  its owners will receive a further bonus of €75 000 €,  which makes it a total bonus of €225 000.

There are hence at least 225 000 good reasons to enter your future champion in the Grand Steeple-Chase Masters !

Saturday, 15 February signals the start of the Auteuil racecourse season

Saturday, 15 February 2025, is not only the date of the first leg of the Grand Steeple-Chase Masters but also marks the start of the new season at the Auteuil racecourse after the winter break.

With friends or family, a day at the Auteuil racecourse comes with the guaranteed enjoyment of spending the day outdoors in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere ! Be amazed by the incredible excitement of jump racing that takes place on 35 different days at the Auteuil racecourse in 2025.

Ideally situated in the 16th arrondissement in Paris, the Auteuil racecourse is directly accessible by metro from the Porte d’Auteuil stop. The best jump horses have competed at the Auteuil racecourse for nearly 150 years and the views of the track from the Auteuil stand are simply breathtaking.
