In 2026, France Galop is organising nearly 50 events at its iconic racecourses: Auteuil, Chantilly, Deauville, ParisLongchamp and Saint-Cloud. From festive days like JeuXdi to major international meetings such as the Prix de Diane Longines, the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris or the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, every event lets you experience the excitement of top-class racing.

A unique close-up with horses at the racecourse
Racecourses are unique as they allow you to get close to the horses: when they walk around the parade ring before the race, when they come thundering down the track close to the rail and in the winner’s enclosure when they celebrate victory.
Guided tours of the stable area (which can be booked on the France Galop website) offer a rare glimpse behind the scenes. It is a great opportunity to see how these elite athletes are looked after on a daily basis. Observe the horses in a quiet moment, away from the buzz of the track.
Before each race, horses are meticulously groomed: their coats are brushed to perfection, sometimes even their hindquarters are decorated with patterns, their mane is braided and their hooves polished… These finishing touches, which don’t have any impact on their performance, reflect the respect and pride of those who care for them every day.
