July 28, 2024, Deauville-Touques Racecourse (Calvados). – The six 2-year-old fillies in the €80,000 Prix Six Perfections Sky Sports Racing (Gr3), run over 7 furlongs, were all coming off a win. However, all had raced at least twice before, and only one remained undefeated: Angeal (Wootton Bassett). Once again, she led the field to victory. Representing Christophe Brun, Normandy Spirit, and Gérard Larrieu, Angeal raced prominently outside the leader Miss Lacouma (Calyx), with the English filly Biniorella Bay (New Bay) on the rail. In the final straight, Angeal, Royalty Bay (Kodiac) coming up the middle, and Relaxx (City Light), who had to deal with a wide draw and ran at the rear, battled it out. They finished in that order, separated by a short neck and a head, almost two lengths ahead of fourth-placed Biniorella Bay.

Angeal won her debut in May at Saint-Cloud over 6 furlongs on good to soft ground, beating Exxtra, who finished third that day. She won more comfortably at the same track over 7 furlongs on June 30.

Consigned by Baroda Stud as a yearling at Goffs Ireland, Angeal was bought for €110,000 by Chantilly Bloodstock (Gérard Larrieu). She is out of Curvy (Galileo), a sister to the excellent sire Power (Oasis Dream), winner of the E P Taylor Stakes (Gr1) and the Ribblesdale Stakes (Gr2) at Royal Ascot, and also the dam of Caisson (War Front), a winner in the USA. This is also the family of another classic winner, Footstepsinthesand, and his brother Pedro the Great, both sires.
