Thursday, June 20, 2024, ParisLongchamp Racecourse (Paris). – A solid winner of her maiden on her third attempt, already over 1m1/2, Mosaïque (Dubawi) secured a brave third place in the Prix de Royaumont (Gr3) over the same distance. She became the favourite in this €55,000 Darley Prix de Thiberville (L), again over 1m4f, and lived up to her billing, clearly dominating her seven rivals in the final couple of furlongs.

The Wertheimer & Frère homebred won by a length and a half over Le Combat Continue (De Treville), who came from the back of the field in a somewhat chaotic race. The third-place finisher, Our Golden One (Golden Horn) from Great Britain, also finished well after tracking the leaders, notably Where I Wanna Be (Camelot) and Strassia (Kendargent), who finished close behind.

Mosaïque is the third filly out of the excellent The Juliet Rose (Monsun). Markus Jooste purchased her for €650,000 at Arqana. She was twice a winner of the Prix de Royallieu (Gr2) and had other very good performances. At the end of her racing career, she was sold privately to the Wertheimer family.

Her second foal, a maiden Sea the Stars filly, was bought by Écurie des Monceaux last December at Arqana for €135,000. She has since placed second five times in her career and has been taken out of training.
