October 2, 2022, ParisLongchamp Racecourse (Paris). – Favourite of the Qatar Prix de la Forêt (Gr1), English raider Kinross (Kingman) won pretty cosily after bidding his time until the last 300 yards to make his move in the centre of the course. He's won by two lengths, beating a more convincing Malavath (Mehmas), who finished wll after trailing the eventual winner. Japan's Entscheiden (Deep Impact) stayed on in 3rd, bravely, as he led the race, just like last year when he already finished third in this event, won by Space Blues.

It is a first success as such a high level for Kinross, now 5 and 4th last year in he same race too. Sinc then, the gelding trained by Ralph Beckett failend three times, at the end of the last season and the beginning of 2022, before finding his way again when 2nd in the Lennox Stakes (Gr2) at Goodwood, over 7 furlongs, and subsequently winning twice at York and Doncaster, on the samesd trip, and despite a 3lbs penalty last time out. It was only a matter of time before he would win a Gr1 over this trip.

Last december, his 5-year-old sister, maiden and barren, was sold for £50,000 at Tattersalls.
