However, the specific conditions of the race or the schedule published in the official brochure did not indicate that the entry for this Group 1 PA would close on Wednesday, 17 April 2024.
This automatic modification occurred when the St Mark’s Basilica Coolmore Prix Saint-Alary was downgraded from Group 1 to Group 2. When the status change of the "St-Alary" was made (on Wednesday, 14 February 2024), the closing of the entries for the "Saint-Alary" was moved to Wednesday, 17 April 2024. The computer system also erroneously and automatically changed the closing date of The President of the UAE Cup – European Cup of Arabian Horses.
In this context, considering that no prior information regarding the change in the closing date of entries for The President of the UAE Cup – European Cup of Arabian Horses had been issued and that this automatic computer modification led to contradictory publications between the official program brochure and the France Galop professional website, it has been decided to revert the closing date of entries for The President of the UAE Cup – European Cup of Arabian Horses to what it should have been: Friday, 3 May 2024, at 10:30 AM.
Entries recorded before Wednesday, 17 April 2024, will be retained.
