Six runners were declared in the Darley Prix de Cabourg (Gr3) on Sunday 29 July, the first Sunday of the Deauville Barrière meeting this year. We will soon know the successor of Tantheem (Teofilo), the last edition's winner of this 6 furlongs juvenile race that's revealed so many future stars of the turf.
The Darley Prix de Cabourg (Gr3) is the second stage of the #DarleySeries before the August 19 finale, the Darley Prix Morny (Gr1), which already looks very promising. A revelation of the Royal Ascot meeting, Calyx (Kingman) won the Coventry Stakes (Gr2) there and is announced in the Deauville showpiece, while trainer Michael Bell has said that he also planned a trip to Normandy for his impressive Duchess of Cambridge Stakes (Gr2) seven lengths winner, Pretty Pollyanna (Oasis Dream).
More to follow on Wednesday, August 1 at the entry stage for the Darley Price Morny.
