Spectacular on Dubai World Cup night on Saturday at Meydan, Belgian rider Christophe Soumillon was at it again two days later at Saint-Cloud aboard Stormy Antarctic (Stormy Atlantic) in the Prix Edmond Blanc (Gr3). They broke away from the field, then veered out to reach the outside of the track going into the home stretch. He then lived on his lead and kept ahead of Nice to See You (Siyouni), second to favorite, defending champion Jimmy Two Times (Kendargent). Trained in Great Britain by Ed Walker, Stormy Antarctic won the Prix du Ranelagh (L) last year in Chantilly.
