Tuesday, 20 October 2020, Deauville. - The Prix des Réservoirs (Gr3) favourite Rougir (Territories) was running for the sixth time after her third place in the Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac (Gr1). She made logics work and was right on time for her new appointment. Still, the filly owned by Kamel Cheboub's Haras de la Gousserie had to be finely ridden by Mickaël Barzalona to resist the finish of the second-placed Cirona (Maxios), beaten by a neck on a very soft going. Rougir travelled in fourth, came by one furlong out and took over a resolute Sky Sister (Maxios) in the last hundred yards.

Bred by Jan Krauze (Haras du Haut-Gué), bought € 11,000 as a weanling by bloodstock agent Guy Petit then sold € 55,000 as a yearling to François Dupuis by L'Hôtellerie, Rougir is out of Summer Moon (Elusive City). The dam was sold carrying to Style Vendôme last December for € 15,000, and her Recorder colt made € 1,200 on the same day. Genovaa agency purchased both lots.

The mare had been bought for € 23,000 by Jan Krauze at the 2017 Arqana breeding sales, in foal to Rougir, only three years after being unsold at € 245,000 at the 2014 Arqana Arc sales.
