Sunday, May 23, 2021, Auteuil Racecourse (Paris). - Odd-on favourite of the Alain du Breil 4yo Hurdle Race (Gr1), after two convincing wins in the prep races, Hermès Baie (Crillon) dominated again, and more! Always positioned near the leaders, the Bertrand Lestrade-ridden AQPS took over between the two last hurdles and took off to win by12 lengths over Martator (Martaline), who finally peeped Raffles Face (Authorized) and beat him for second place.

Hermès Baie has been amongst the favoured runners last November in the Cambacérès 3yo Hurdle Race (Gr1) but lost his rider at the first hurdle.

Ludmika (Murmure), Hermès Baie's dam, had a short but good career with Yannick Fertillet as she ran three times over the flat and won twice, finishing once 3rd. At stud, she gave 7 foals and Hermès Baie is amongst the best Crillons she foaled, such as Dress Baie (Crillon), four times a winner. The last full sister to Hermès Baie, also bred by André-Jean Belloir, is named I Love My Baie and she's in the Goffs Doncaster Sale, le Spring Store on May 17th. Ludmika met a new fiancé since then, with two Tiger Groom foals.
