Boulogne-Billancourt, Tuesday, February 19, 2019 - The Haras d'Etreham is a historic French stud farm ranked among the main breeders-sellers in the country.
Formerly focused on flat racing, the Haras d'Etreham gradually developed an activity in jumpers breeding. First with the champion sire Poliglote, then with Saint of Saints (pictured), one of the best jumpers' sires in Europe. Today, the young guard is represented by the very promising Masked Marvel and Kamsin, sire of On the Go, the winner of the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris (Gr1) in 2018.
After announcing this autumn the creation of a sire station dedicated to the jumpers in partnership with the Haras de la Tuilerie, the Haras d'Etreham reaffirms, through this sponsorship of a series of races foir fillies, its presence in the jumps program.
Five 3-year-old fillies races at Auteuil will therefore be associated with Haras d'Etreham. The owner and breeder of the winners of the Prix d'Iena (L), Sagan (Gr3), Chambly (Gr3), Magne (Gr3), and Bournosienne (Gr2) will each receive a free nomination.
In addition, the Haras d'Etreham brings €20,000 to the prizemoney in the Prix Bournosienne Hurdle from 2019, increasing it from €145,000 to €165,000, with an additional increase of €10,000 the following year to reach €175,000 from 2020.
