Friday, September 18, 2020, Chantilly. - Beaten by a neck by Fev Rover in the Shadwell Prix du Calvados (Gr2) on August 22 at Deauville, Plainchant (Gregorian) outrageously dominated the Prix Eclipse (Gr3) over 6 furlongs. Her rider must have let her go past the stands and so she went to the post on the bit no less than five lengths ahead of English raider Legal Attack (Shalaa).

Trained at La Teste by Maurizio Guarnieri, sold for € 5,000 at the Deauville sales, Plainchant finished an unlucky third on her 5-furlongs debut in May. She then won two races including a Listed over 6 furlongs, more than a length ahead of Stardevote (Starspangledbanner), a good third in this Prix Eclipse. Here she confirms her very good performance at Deauville.

Her dam Nadinska (Doyen) is a winner in England. She is the dam of Wink Oliver (Winker Watson), winner of twelve races in England and in France and still in training at La Teste, and more recently a filly by Reliable Man born in 2019.
