Darley Morny Report: Campanelle is simply too strong

In this 2-year-old championship contested over 6f, which he won in 2013 with No Nay Never and 2016 with Lady Aurelia, he sent Campanelle (Kodiac) to succeed the French title holder Earthlight.

And she did, but not only. Campanelle (Kodiac) ignored the field in the last furlong and the Queen Mary Stakes (Gr2) winner at Royal Ascot completely outclassed another Royal Ascot winner, Nando Parrado (Kodiac), beating him by two lengths.

Trained in the United States, bought £ 190,000 at Newmarket sales, Campanelle had won on her Florida debut before her venture in Europe, where she was bred.
