Organisation of the fixture list and replacement program

Boulogne-Billancourt, Friday, 22 May 2020 - On Friday, France Galop directors met to adjust several issues regarding the fixture list and racing program for the coming weeks.

Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris meeting (7 June)

Following the modification of the jump racing programme, the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris and the Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil will now take place on Sunday, 7 June.

Currently, the Auteuil racecourse is located in the red zone and it is currently not possible to know if it can be operational on 7 June (as it has to become a green zone).

Therefore, the directors have decided that:

- The Grand Steeple-Chase and the Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil will take place on 7 June, only if the Auteuil racecourse is operational;

- If the meeting on 7 June cannot take place at Auteuil, races initially included on that day’s card will be run at Pau, with the exception of the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris and the Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil;

- If races are run at Pau on 7 June, the Prix Héros XII and the Prix Hypothèse will replace the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris and the Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil respectively. In this case, the race conditions of the Prix Héros XII and the Prix Hypothèse will be reviewed.

Entries for the meeting on 7 June will close on Friday, 29 May.

It will be possible to enter horses in the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris and the Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil for the Auteuil meeting. Entries for all the other races will be made for the Pau meeting (except for the Prix Héros XII and the Prix Hypothèse).

The exact venue of the meeting and its card will be announced at the latest on Wednesday, 3 June.

Finally, if the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris cannot take place on 7 June, the jump racing programme for the autumn will be modified.

Ferdinand Dufaure Chase and Alain du Breil Hurdle race meeting

On Saturday 13 June, the Grade 1 Prix Ferdinand Dufaure and Alain du Breil feature on the card at Auteuil. There are three possible scenarios for this meeting, applicable in the following order:

1. Auteuil is in the green zone, the card takes place at Auteuil

2. Compiègne is in the green zone, the race takes place at Compiègne

3. Neither Auteuil nor Compiegne is in the green zone, the card moves to Clairefontaine.

The exact location of the 13 June meeting and its card will be announced at the latest on Wednesday, 3 June.
