Another hot Sunday at Auteuil

A new sunny Sunday at Auteuil with the Prix Fleuret 4yo Chase (Gr3) making the headline. This race brings together some of the best 4 years-old chasers, starting with Goliath du Berlais (Saint des Saints), winner of the Prix Duc d'Anjou (Gr3) recently over 3,500 meters. On that day, a new duel was expected with Polirico (Cokoriko), who beat Goliath in the Prix Congress Chase (Gr2) last year, but the representative of Jacques Détré unseated his rider at the river and we have not been able to check the respective merits of the two youngsters.

At the end of the 4,400 metres-long trip, we will probably know a little more about it.

Among the attractions of this meeting, we can also note the return to Auteuil of So French (Poliglote) over the fences in the Prix Air Landais Chase after a winning tilt at hurdles in Fontainebleau. Owned by Magalen Bryant, he has twice won the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris (Gr1) in 2016 and 2017. The 4-year-old Kapstar (Kapgarde), a brother of another winner of the "Grand Steeple", Milord Thomas, will start his career in Prix Alcide Hurdle Race. Two 3-year-old beginners hurdle races, the Prix Geographie for fillies and Grandak for males, are also on the card.
