The Prix Corrida (Gr2) this year brought together six 4-year-old mares to succeed Bateel, who made a strong impression last year at the end of the 2,100 meters-trip. Unbeaten this season in two outings, Morgan Le Faye (Shamardal) won again quite easily. The Godolphin mare did not have to be extended to win by two lengths over Listen In (Sea The Stars), who was giving two pounds to the winner for her 2019 return, and Shahnaza (Azamour), which for her part was placed for the third time this year in as many trials.

Morgan Le Faye is out of Molly Malone (Lomitas), a Qatar Prix du Cadran (Gr1) winner. She was bought as a yearling for € 350,000 at the Deauville sales. She's from the family of Monsun (Königsstühl) and Brametot (Rajsaman).
The mare ran over longer trips last year and finished third in the 2-mile Prix Royal-Oak (Gr1), behind Holdthasigreen and Called to the Bar.
