Winners of the Prix de Malleret (Gr2) a little earlier, Lanfranco Dettori and John Gosden have won again in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud (Gr1), over 1m4f at St. Cloud on Sunday, with the gray mare Coronet (Dubawi).

It was a goal for the 5-year-old mare, second to Waldgeist in the same race last year. She was given the perfect trip by Dettori, trailing a front-running Ziyad (Rock of Gibraltar) to take over through the inside and pass the post with a short neck over Ziyad, who narrowly held the other English raiding mare at the start, Lah Ti Dar (Dubawi).

The favourite Morgan Le Faye (Shamardal) did not accelerate at the decisive moment and finished sixth of seven.

Coronet is a sister to Aussie Rules, also out of Approach (Darshaan), who also gave Midas Touch (Galileo), second in the Irish Derby (Gr1), and then in the St.Leger (Gr1).
