Every year, from the end of July and throughout the whole month of August, Deauville is the destination of choice for the horse racing elite.

Deauville has always been closely linked to the sport of kings, and this charming Norman seaside town takes the opportunity to celebrate its long-running passion for our four-hoofed friends during the Meeting de Deauville Lucien Barrière.

Racing fans from all over the globe flock to Deauville-La Touques racecourse every summer to experience this unique sporting event.

Deauville-La Touques racecourse is proud to host one of the most important dates in the European racing calendar; an event which has brought excellence, excitement and the unique atmosphere of horse racing to this prestigious beach resort for the last 150 years.
