Tin Horse wins the Prix Messidor.
Lockwood takes the laurels in the Prix de Ris-Orangis.

The two Group III races both finished in spectacular style, as Tin Horse galloped to victory in the Prix Messidor and Lockwood won his first group race in the Prix de Ris-Orangis.

In 2012, France Galop organised its annual Country Picnic in partnership with Maisons-Laffitte Town Hall, giving racegoers the ideal opportunity to witness exceptional sporting prowess and soak up some rays at the same time. This fun-filled event boasted picnics on the racecourse grounds and an open-air painting competition, as well as numerous entertainment activities that delighted young and old alike, including a jazz band, street artists, merry-go-round, and pony rides.
