“A country picnic”: what better way to spend the day?

Now that summer is finally here, what could be more pleasant than lying back on the green grass and revelling in the soft caress of the sun’s rays?

Maisons-Laffitte racecourse invited visitors to enjoy its lush lawns and the unique atmosphere of the races, for the perfect breath of fresh air to counter the stifling heat of the city.
Throughout the day, racegoers took part in various fun-filled and creative workshops, organised especially for the event.

A myriad of artistic visitors set up their easels to take part in the traditional painting competition, while families delighted in the assortment of activities dotted around the racecourse, including seasonal games (badminton, croquet, etc.), bouncy castles, penalty kicks, street entertainers and even guided tours.

A fresh, fun-filled day was enjoyed by all, in the superb setting of Maisons-Laffitte racecourse!
