Sizzling summer sport in 2012!

A sensational summer was had by all at Deauville-La Touques racecourse!
For the whole month of August, the heart of this seaside town beat to the rhythm of thundering hooves as the world’s most talented thoroughbreds engaged in fierce turf-side tussles during the 2012 edition of the Meeting de Deauville Lucien Barrière.
From Saturday 28th July to Tuesday 28th August 2012, the Norman town was overrun with horse racing professionals and avid fans of the sport of kings, as one of the most important events in the European racing calendar came to town.
The meeting’s exceptionally rich and diverse racecard was, as always, the main reason why the horseracing elite descended on Deauville this August, and the racecourse’s setting just a stone’s throw away from the beach made the event even more appealing.

With a host of exclusive entertainment activities that all the family could enjoy, Deauville truly was the venue for an unforgettable summer! We are counting down the days until the 2013 event!
